A buttload of different pencils. Dull ones, sharp ones, big ones, small one, tall ones, short ones, mechanical, you get the drift.
Started out I was trying to find as many different pencils as I could. :lol
I will admit, the shaded part of her hair I did with my computer, I can never get the hair to look right. :hh
Especially in color drawings.

Nope, just the hair.
I'm pretty good at replicating images, on different scales and such. As long as I can see the original picture, I can draw it fairly well.
However, I don't draw much, because I really don't see much sense in recreating something that already exists, besides to kill time. :P
 
Hmm ok well I will just take your word for it. My skepticism comes from that fact that it's almost too perfect. The lines and proportions are literally exact as the original picture, I see not one single pencil mark, no smudges, no erased parts, etc,. The other thing is that you admitted the hair was done the computer, yet the shading on the body is the exact same value as the hair. I've been drawing for 20+ years and I've never seen a pencil drawing like this. But honestly I am not saying you are lying, I just have to voice my skepticism on this one!
 
i get that a lot, but I'm being honest. :)
perhaps next time I draw something I'll record myself drawing it.
 
I agree with x2 a bit. It's a bit of awe at how accurate the re-sketch is. Either way, you're graphite-grey version makes her look a bit sexier. ^_^
 
Black and white pictures seem to put a sexier contrast to people, probably due to colour scheme making it harder to pick up on impurities, such as some faint wrinkles. Skin looks smoother too, and the dark shadowy tones add to mystery.
