Sonic returns to GBA one last time tommorrow...

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
In the re-release of Sonic the Hedgehog 1 for GBA, entitled "Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis" for $19.99. Only difference, is Sonic can now perform the Spin-Dash now.

Okay, please, please please...stay away from this one....

This port has been the worst experience I've ever faced in my entire life. Sonic Genesis GBA suffers slow-down when too much is going on, the music remixes aren't that great, and even the spin-dash they so praise, has suffered slow-down as well. When Sonic is running too fast, the game has to take a MAJOR step back.

I thought the PS2 Sonic Mega Collection Plus port was horrible with load times and lame "Frame" around the actual game that can't even fill up the entire screen...but this takes the cake and puts Sonic with Snail shoes.

Shame on you Sega! Especially disappointing the likes of ME! You are on notice!

Bummer...sonic really hasn't had a great experience on any system for a long, long time.
 
I think it is great for only 19 dollars. At least they arent charging 29.99 for it and does it have any unlockables. And a general question how is the Sonic 2 with Tails on the GBA?

Sonic 2 with Tails on GBA? you mean Sonic Advance 1-2-3?
 
Yeah, I heard the Sonic port was absolutely terrible.

They shortened your view because it couldn't handle it, and the slowdown was just... BAD...
