This game is looking GREAT! Did anyone else get a chance to see this? IGN seemed very happy with this... they said:

As I said over at my other site, I was shocked to see IGN to give a 9.0 to a Sonic game, which they haven't given a top score to a Sonic game since Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast days

I just picked up this game yesterday and so far I'm liking it. I'm glad Sonic doesn't completely stop when he gets hit by an enemy like he did in the GBA games. And I would have to agree with IGN. So far this seems like the best Sonic game I've ever played!

I got it and it is a good game. The graphics are like a 3d and 2 d tpye.

I know it rocked something awesome at E3 2005, but I haven't played the retail surprisingly..

I just picked it up today, and it's mighty hard. On the seccond stage sonic is underwater most of the time with a 10 seccond breath limit before he dies, makes it brutal.

But the graphics are easily the best on the system, cell shaded 3D charecters and HUGE backgrounds, the boss battles would be impressive on the GameCube let alone DS
