Not a good time to be stubborn, either, with the 360 getting full price cuts on every model and the Wii being...cheap as hell already.
This isn't a very smart move. Price seems to be one of the biggest problems people have with the PS3, the biggest reason they don't want it.
This would be a perfect time for Microsoft to take advantage and give the 360 another price cut.

No price cut in the USA, yet Japan can complain and they automatically get a price drop! Gees, why can't Americans unite like other countries for once and fight back if something doesn't seem fair? I tell ya, we have no organization skills when it comes to agreeing to one thing at times, especially when a vast majority will say "YES PS3 is overpriced"...but Sony won't listen to us, but they will listen to the Japanese market? Yeahhh that makes PERFECT sense! :lol
Here, last month, they got owned, but because of the price cut, the PS3 sold 100,000 units in Japan last week. I don't think we get weekly sales figures for the U.S however.fhqwhgads said:
