SP???

Ah yes the famous question of holiday season 2003.....and the answer is....

"Special" = "SP"

Would have been cool to make a GBA SP logo look like "FATAL FURY SPECIALLLLL!!" :D

The light, the compact design, and the first portable game device that did not need batteries....and it was special, cuz it rides the lil yellow school bus with a pink safety helmet and we must respect them for that :(

The SP has it's own backlight and has the same battery configuration as the DS. It was installed from the factory, and is good for about 500 charges before being replaced. And replacements, from what I have heard, you can only get through Nintendo's website.
