Proof? I have played both Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Bioshock and other PC shooters, when you have only played PC shooters. Don't preach about the difference until you have experienced it.

i have the same problem as strubes, i won't waste 1000000$ for just update my computer to just play one game, the wii version will be cheaper and i control the wii remote way better than the mouse (you're talking with someone who finished trauma center EXTREME MISSIONS). even if the controlers are not good the DS version is still there, and even if the DS version sucks, there are rumors of a ps3 versions so no matter what i still win XD.
Uh, we don't actually know the system requirements for Spore. They may do something like Ironclad did with Sins of a Solar Empire, and really tone down the minimum system requirements, to make it more accessible. So I wouldn't rule out the PC version, until the system requirements are announced.

To be on topic, I'll be buying the Wii version. I have done nothing to my computer beyond buy it, and all I know is that it can run Xbox games. So odds are, no Spore for me.
