It's was Sony's biggest exclusive and the one chance everyone thought they had at really getting some sales.Shawcross said:Well I have never been a FF fan but is this really that big of a deal? It is bringing out alot of passion in everyone on this topic!
No, Sony needs to stop telling Square Enix to stop making turn based games, or they're gonna lost them entirely. The only thing that effects me from this news is that Microsoft has put up probably some big money to get a Sony game onto their system, Sony needs to start shelling out some money to make sure their exclusives stay exclusive.
The only thing I can think of that would hurt Sony more is if every PS3 suddenly exploded. And it's not just FFXIII, Square's slowly drifting away from them, and that's their biggest third party support.Strubes said:lol you guys. FFXIII going multiplat isn't the end of the world for Sony.
Who's talking about them?Strubes said:lol. Yeah, who cares about games like LittleBigPlanet, God of War 3, MAG, Disgaea 3, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and the such.
That's funny, because Nintendo has an install in Japan three times the size. They've been showing tons of Nintendo support lately and it's not surprising if they'd go back, the way Sony's been acting.Square Enix will never leave Sony because they love the install base in Japan anyway, thus this argument is null and void.
Yes, having the lowest software sales and lagging behind in overall units sold by seven million gives off that image. Their top three games. Two were third party, and the top-selling one was bundled with the console.Strubes said:Yeah, Sony looks like they're hurting real bad right now.
Because I can back up what I say?Strubes said:And I wonder why you rag on Sony so bad... :lol.
Seven million.and being behind by only 5 million units
The Wii managed to pull far ahead just fine, and it was the last one out.when they're what 12-18 months behind the 360?

Really, 'cause I've always been thinking 19 million minus 12 million equaled seven million, but I guess not.Strubes said:I hear 5 million. That's at least what Microsoft showed at their conference.
Yeah, good thing the average gamer is 18-24 or whatever.Yes, there's alot of kids out there.

Yes, because we all know in the gaming average, they just leave out Wii owners. For the 360 and PS3 maybe.
