Hitman 2: Silent Assasin - Great storyline, tons of action and gun fights never stop!
 
Dark Cloud 2 - Addictive, creative and just a plain great RPG! It has hours of gametime, a real time battle system superior to Kingdom Hearts (IMO), a god sim element where you build up towns and villages, then travel to the future to see how it's changed, and some good mini games. It also has the second best use of cel shading in a video game (you know who wins 1st place in that...). Probably the most underrated game ever.

it all depends on your particular taste in genre. can't go wrong with vice city. if you play online, socom 2 is really cool with that. me and my friends try to play that a lot now. KH and FFX are good for rpg's. fighters i would probably go with sc2 since it's cool for beginners. madden and tony hawk games are good for sports, etc yadda yadda.
 
You know what game I liked?

Freekstyle.

It was a multiplatform game but it worked best on the PS2 because of the controllers.

I still have it. I'm trying to unlock more tracks.
 
I think the XBOX version of DDR is Live compatible. I'm not sure though if you actually can compete or if it's just a scoreboard type thing.
 
unless you have the actual pad to step on, that game really shouldn't be played.
if you like RE games, Outbreak is pretty cool. I've been playing it quite a bit
 
Ok, here's another game that's really good with tons of action left and right! But it isn't suggested for young ones though, cause I honestly think that this game should be rated AO (adult only), and that game is "The Suffering".  I played it yesterday over my friends house and found it really fun and scary!

You play as this guy who goes by the name of "Torque" and your sentence to death by lethal injection for 1st degree murder of your wife and two kids! So the game basically takes place in a prison that I find is like hell! And I suppose your trying to get out of the prison cause every goes chaos! You fight zombies and other horrible looking creatures as well as inmates that can help you and sometimes fight you! So your like a one man army in this game.

Has anyone heard of have even played this game before?

Yea, I'll get that game when it goes down in price, but yea it looks pretty cool.

I liked Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, personally. Fun game, awesome weapons, great graphics, just overall high quality, IMO.

FF X was also a fave of mine, but not mahy people are fans of turn based combat RPG's. Think they're boring or something. Meh.
