Super Gameboy adaptor

A friend just gave me an old Super Gameboy adaptor, the adaptor to play GameBoy games through the Super NES...

So, after cleaning up the contacts with a q-tip, I got the thing working with Metroid II. It's nice, it actually has MORE color than using Metroid II with the Gameboy Advance SP. I was impressed.

However, it is slightly annoying that you have gray borders that say "gameboy" all around the actual game screen. At least it's easy to ignore as you start getting into the game...

Anyone else have a Super Gameboy adaptor?

I used to, but i got rid of it when i sold my SNES a couple years ago. I thought it was pretty cool, I have the one for Gamecube now though.

Super GameBoy imho has more features then GB Player on Cube.

Look how crisp Metroid 2 looks on that puppy! Plus CUSTOMIZABLE Colors for GameBoy games?? How cool is that!

GB Player just gives you optional frames..and one ugly color for GB games

I didn't even realize there were extra options... I guess that I haven't played around with it quite enough.

But yeah, I was amazed that there was more color present than even the GBA gives those old GB games.
