Congrats to the steelers, but I thought it was a VERY boring game. I don't think either of the teams played very well.

Believe it or not I found Detroit a very nice city. :o
The local police told me it was a front for the Super Bowl, but it was still nice. I had a very drunken good time GO STEELERS!!!!!!! ::D

The bums were still around begging for food or money, but alot of them just wanted the empty bottles and cans. It can be like that in Pittsburgh. You just have to know how to handle them.

More like Congrats to the Oddsmakers in Vegas. I wonder how much those refs got paid for that one. Seattle did have their own issues, but that was definitely a fixed Super Bowl.

Meh, it was obvious who the refs favored, I think the only real bad call was that Rothlesburger (or however you spell it) touchdown. Even if you take that out, they still would've won it though. :-\

I would say the holding call, the Darrell Jackson catch at the 1 yd line where he had possession and had one foot in and one foot hit the pile-on. Those were 2 huge calls that cost the Seahawks 14 points and the game. I am a Dolphin and BEngal fan and do not care for either team, but it was definitely not a fair Super Bowl.

Okay, now that you bring that up... I need someone to explain this to me, cause I don't understand it and everybody in my family refuses to explain it to me.

What the heck is Offensive Pass Interference? How do you have interference with your own pass?

Once the ball leaves the QB's hands you cannot push the defender away to free yourself. Neither of them can push or hit each other until someone touches the ball. If there wasn't offensive pass interference then QB's would have a crapload of pass completions. It isn't fair to the defense to let the offense do what they want in order to catch the ball.

The Offensive Pass-Interference was not one of the calls that the refs got wrong. Could have gone either way on that one. They just choose to flag him, but it did not look like he pushed to much to free himself up. IT was the other calls that killed rallies.

The only way a player will not be called on a pass interference penalty is if he pushes and is not looking for the ball. I can't say what happened in this particular case because I was driving back home when the game was being played. Cranky kids and being two hours from home will ruin anyone's chances of watching a game.

I didn't say that was one of the calls that went wrong, I just had no idea what it is and nobody would explain it to me. :-\ Thanks though.

No, I was just clearing up the call that went against Darrell Jackson at the end of the 1st half. I was just saying that the call that he was out-of-bounds was wrong and what I was talking about.

And I know you cannot change the results, but this also happened to Nebraska in the 1993 Championship Game against Florida State where the refs kept calling Pass-Interference against them to move FL St into FG range and win the game. Charlie Ward could not even move the ball against them without the refs.

I just think it is funny how Porter cries and complains after the Indy Game so the refs gave the advantage to the Steelers for this game. I think the refs should not be any part what-so-ever in the result of a game and lately they have been.

Also, the Steelers would not have been there if they did not take Palmer out on the 2nd play (a 66 yd pass). But, we will see next yr when they play again and Palmer lights them up!

I think the refs were all for the steelers , every time seattle had a good play they took it back,hu,playoffs, more like paidoffs,oh welll, i was goin for the steelers anyways ,so what the hell,YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!
