Tales of Eternia (Namco)

One of the few playable PSP games at E3, this not-so-creatively code-named port of Tales of Eternia, also known as Tales of Destiny 2 in the U.S., looked gorgeous. I don't think I've ever seen such vivid 2D visuals. As with the original, T.O.E. combines real-time action-packed battles with traditional RPG exploration.

So uh, Sony said they weren't porting games to the PSP? I guess they didn't let Namco know. :p

:lol

Sony lied... you know they will port like heck to the PSP.

Gran Turismo will be another. Just watch.

Is Tales of Eternia related to Tales of Symphonia comingout soon on GCN?

And I bet the PSP is ported a lot. It worked for the GBA, so they'll probably do it too.

Yeah, Tales of Eternia and Tales of Symphonia are both games from the Tales series, which isn't very well known in the US but really popular in Japan. Eternia and Symphonia are different from each other, though.

And how exactly did Sony lie? I don't recall them ever saying they weren't going to port.

You know Neph, it's funny you should say that. You yourself posted the link to the article that stated the PSP wouldn't have ports. :D

So uh, Neph, any explanation for the memory lapse? :p

Tails of Eternia

This one was only realeased in Europe and Japan which bugs me. I think it's a port of Tales of Destiny 2 but I'm not 100% sure. I keep trying to get it on ebay but people keep out bidding me and I don't want to spend more than $45 to get it. I heard it's extremely good though so maybe I should go to $55?

Re: Tails of Eternia

Tales of Eternia is awesome. I would definitely recommend getting it. :)

However, be careful if you import it from Europe. The earlier prints of it had a gamebreaking glitch where you couldn't get past a certain part. Which, sadly, I know from personal experience. :nope Later copies of the game are fine, though.
