Ok Stealth, I guess I need to explain this to you. Alrighty, you said...

"Dart asked if there was a lot of good games for the Xbox other than Halo that made it worth buying."

"X2 said that there was and listed off five games, four of which are also available on PC."

OK-He asked if there were good games for Xbox so I said "alot of action games", "alot of good racers", and "alot of fps's" and about 5 rpg's of which I listed. So your comment of "X2 said that there was and listed 5 games" proves you DID say otherwise. You did not say "X2 listed the 5 good rpg's for Xbox". Now, if you can't understand that than I am sorry for you. But really, let's just let this die ok, there's really no point in going on here as the matter has been resolved, ok??
 
All of this controversy brings me to my next point.....

Hopefully it will be close or maybe even fit the profile of the best Xbox game ever made for me. :D

Bigmac pointed this out to say that if Dart was going to buy an Xbox for those games, he might be better off just buying those games for his PC. Especially because, in Bigmac's opinion, SW:KOTOR is better on PC.

Bigmac did make a valid arguement and point. There's no sense in buying an Xbox for those games if you would be just as open to playing them on PC. That's why he used that arguement, it does make sense, at least to me.

Yes and there is no point in buying an xbox if you can be just as open and playing them on another console, same goes for the other consoles. Each console has their own exclusives and ports. It's like saying why buy RE4 for the GCN when you can get it on the PS2 or vice versa. If he wanted to make his point valid then he should have mentioned other exclusive games that are PC only.
 
Ya know what, I made a very long and thorough post explaining my side of things, but I think now I'm just gonna drop it.

I just want you to understand that I did read your post, and the only reason I didn't say "X2 mentioned racing games, action games, shooting games, and 5 other games..." when I said "X2 mentioned 5 games, 4 of which are on the PC" was because I thought it would have been redundant to repeat what was not in dispute. I thought that part of your statement was irrelevant, but for some reason I cannot understand you seem to think it was.

Either way, I can take the high road and just let it go, wasn't my arguement anyway...

I still think Bigmac made a valid point, and I think the rest of you are all bonkers for thinking otherwise, but it's cool. :lol
 
Haha, you should have just said that right away Stealth. I do understand what you mean now that you say it like that. I guess the only thing that still upsets me is that nobody seems to see my point though. I know Bigmac made a valid point, but I just felt like it was straying from the original question. If I would have listed all the good games for Xbox there would be other ports in there as well, because the question was not "what are some good exclusive Xbox games". So you see, whether the games are better on pc or xbox is irrevelant because that was not the question, it was simply "what are some good Xbox games". Now, had the the poster who asked the question stated that he or she already owned an awesome gaming pc, my advice would have differed. I hope you can see my side a bit better now :)

And I agree that what Bigmac said was not refuting the main point you were making. Honestly when he mentioned that those games were on PC I had completely forgotten that they were, so to me it seemed a logical thing to point out in case it was not obvious to Dart. Because it sure wasn't obvious to me. :lol

It was straying from the original question, but personally I thought it was worth mentioning, a valid point one might say. :D

I would have never known that most of the games on the Xbox were on the PC as well because I don't play PC games. So whether I can get them for the PC would make no difference to me because I would have gotten them for the Xbox.
