The End of Fanboyism Thread

monkey ball would be cool if it had like where you could race each other through the levels and not take turns cuz thats lame... i heard monkey ball adventure blew... anyone like it?

First off the 360 is my console of choice at the moment so no complaints there

The Wii looks like a fun system to have and can be fun at parties

The PS3 definitely has the power to make some awesome games and it has L.A.I.R. which kinda makes me wish I was more of a sony person

Racing would be more push the other person off more than racing. Adventure did blow.

Thank you for throwing this thread back on track.

I'd like to also add some unique features of each console.

Wii - I can check the weather any time, and send friends mail in a fun and easy-to-understand way.

360 - I can compete against others by gaining on my gamerscore, and can play almost any game on xbox live with my friends.

PS3 - Has multiple USB outlets, and even an opening for SD/Mini SD cards, direct Surround sound port, and camera port as well, making uploading images and videos easier than ever.

The online price is very fair. You get free access to lots of demos, videos, and other content for $5 a month.

$60 gets you the one-year starter kit. That's $5 a month, plus the kit comes with
  • $20 Xbox 360 Game Rebate Coupon*
    Xbox 360™ Headset
Xbox Live Arcade game: Bankshot Billiards 2™
    200 Microsoft® Points

So you get a lot of bang for your buck.

I'd say slightly more fair is $0. Really, they're the only one with a price, and is Microsoft a poor company?

I don't mind the $50 a year for the service. What I do think they need to lower the prices on is some of the actual Marketplace merchandise. XBL games especially. And I think the Themes and GamerPics should be totally free.

yea and you usually get screwed into having an extra 100 or 200 points that you cant really do anything with... but by themes and pics which are lame

Or they can just not have things sell with 50's. IE 150, 250. The whole system is WHACK
