The first three TG16 games you can download for Wii

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Hudson announced the first 3 titles for Wii's Virtual Console, they are R-Type, New Adventure Island and Bonk's Adventure for PC-Engine / Turbografx-16. All three titles will be available in Winter 2006.

that's nice! Are they going to offer more than that?

Did they say it was free or for a price?

That would be cool if they had gates of thunder...etc.

No price, but so far nothing else mentioned...I'm surprised Bomberman didn't show up yet
it has to!

There are sooo many games from the TG that would be awesome for D/L on the Wii....

I am still a bit concerned on what it will do to used game market though.

I don't think it will do much because

1.) they are still going to charge for most, if not all, of the roms.
2.) there are still people out there who despise Nintendo and won't buy a Wii, and
3.) there are still people out there who like to own the physical cartridge, like me. :) If Im going to pay for an old game again, I might as well get the original.

Now as more and more games are released I have a question. You won't have much room in the internal memory for more than a couple of games. I believe the Wii is supposed to have USB ports wherein you can hook up an external hard drive. My question is this.....will your game need to be in the internal memory to work or could it be on an external source?
