Now parents will get confused and buy their kids this brick instead of the smaller DSi, or the DS Lite. That thing is as ugly as Left 4 Dead 2's Spitter! It's supposedly being marketed to "senior citizens" but i don't think this will sway any of them, it will just confuse things for everyone else. If you work in game retail, expect the question "Which DS is the best one?" a lot.

Really? I honestly thought the PSP would've been a little heavier than DS (i or Lite).

I have the original DS phat. I have thought about a lite or DSi. Now I know that my next DS will be the DS XL. I'm sold on the large screens. Glad I waited and was indecisive.

the fact that it weights more than the phat DS kind of ticks me off a little but i am still considering getting it
