The new Apple, Inc.

Definetly over-priced. People say that it's major advantage is its ability to sync up with Macs........but to pay $300-$400 more to do that is insane.
 
I thought the price was $499? But there is another version that probably costs more.

IMO, it is overpriced and won't bring a whole lot more to the table. Maybe it will do it better than others, but I think this is going to suffer from being over hyped.
 
Like the PS3, it's not really overpriced but just too much for some people. I would never own one, but it's basically a PDA that can run Mac OS X. Which is why it costs so much. It's not just a cell phone that can play music.
 
I really don't think the phone is overpriced at all.

A lot of the new phones that had come out recently (LG CU500, Samsung Blackjack, etc.) are actually retailing at $450. Considering the iPhone can do everything those phones do, and double as an iPod, and triple as a 4/8 gig portable harddrive, and run full Mac OS 10... a $499 (or $599 for the 8 gig) seems fair to me.
