Yeah. I'm here...all your noob worries are over. lol just kidding. I read the faq, and I won't be flaming/harrassing noobs. Well, I'm new here, just thought I'd introduce myself.

P.S. When you say no advertising, does this mean I can't put a link to my website in my signature?
 
Well, no sigs are alowed because some peeps can go overboard and it slows down the site bigtime for the dial-up users.

For links and whatnot, I believe you have to be here for a certain amount of time and they have to follow BV's guidelines.

Other than that, welcome to the boards!! Stay a while too. :D
 
No sig? Man...I don't wanna complain here....can't you like, make it have a signature post limit? And, maybe disallow image posting in sigs...could help. But I do like the site though! I think I shall stay...AND SLAY SOME NOOBS!

Well, offsite avs sometimes have less-than-friendly content that may be unsuitable for the young'uns here.

Sigs? Again, it's BV's toilet. he can flush it any way he feels fit. And it's a non-issue for him. Maybe when dial-up is dead will he allow it. Then again maybe not. Dunno...
 
Well, lol, people can post bad things as well, you can't disable posting. That's why there are rules. The same rules that apply to posting can apply to avatars...

Welcome to the boards. we hope you enjoy your stay.

Avatars are stored on server to control the size of them.... and we do not allow off-site linking due to the fact that people like to link 500kb animated avatars.... inappropriate content, and if their server is down (that hosts them), it can make slower loading here... and honestly, we do everything here to keep a superbly fast loading site. As far as I know, this site loads fast with mobile phones, 56k users, and broadband users alike.

Please be familiar with the rules and all. We are not unreasonable... and we are a friendly board... but we ask that the people here follow the rules.

Post it up if you have Q's.
