OMG!

So far, I'm really excited about Halo ODST, Halo Reach, Crackdown 2, Alan Wake, Golden Sun 3, and the Metroid stuff.

This x100! I never had the chance to play the first Golden Sun's so I am stoked about this.

I loved Sony's Conference. It was everything I imagined.

And with GT5 and GT PSP, amazing. 800 Cars is intense.

I agree. I LOL'd so hard when Microsoft said Forza 3 was the best looking racer on ANY platform...haha. :lol

I'm excited for:

God of War 3
Halo 3 ODST
LEFT 4 DEAD 2
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Resident Evil PSP
Final Fantasy XIV Online PS3
Uncharted 2
Ratchet & Clank: Crack in Time
LittleBigPlanet PSP
Golden Sun DS
Metroid: Other M

:)

*claps and cries* thank you nintendo for not sucking this year... thank you.

lol about Forza, isnt it shocking that

Forza Motorsport 3: 400 Cars, with 100 tracks
Gran Turismo PSP: 800 cars, 35 tracks with 60 variations and layouts

Its kind of interesing to think that the PSP version is competing against a Xbox 360 version as "definitive racing game" this year

Meh, more cars really doesn't mean much considering in GT games they have like basically 10 variations of the same car, plus a crap load of cars you never even want to actually drive. Id take more courses, realistic damage, and more challenge any day. Unless GT5 has made major changes over the previous games, I don't see it being the "king" of racers like it used to be. The whole game mechanic was flawed in GT3 and GT4, there was never any challenge. It was simply, buy a car that massively overpowers the competition, drive the same laps over and over, win, rinse and repeat. I loved GT1 and GT2, but the formula is old and stale and it is in dire need of an complete overhaul.

Hello all, there is a Miyamoto roundtable taking place right now! In years past, Pikmin 3 was officially revealed at this event, as well as Smash Bros. Brawl. We could get something good out of this. I'll keep EGA up to date about the event.

If you wish to look at the Live Blog I'm reading yourself, it's right here: http://wii.ign.com/articles/989/989996p1.html

He is talking about New Super Mario Bros. Wii. There are roughly 80-something levels, and he shows the penguin suit. There are no photos or video allowed at this thing, but don't worry, you can see this penguin suit in the trailer for the game (not the demo shown in the conference). Here is that trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTjWLgx4ndc

Now he talks about Super Mario Galaxy 2.

by the way frodus boom wanted me to tell you "HA! WHO SAID THERE WAS NOT GOING TO BE A MGS ABOUT RAIDEN?"

I didn't say there wasn't going to be. Here is some wiki on the game:
Metal Gear Solid: Rising is an upcoming video game currently in development by Kojima Productions. It is due for release on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows. The series' former tagline, "Tactical Espionage Action", has been replaced by "Lightning Bolt Action", to fit the new protagonist, Raiden; the word Raiden (雷電?) is Japanese for "Thunder and Lighting".

The game will center around Raiden, the surprise protagonist and player character of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. Raiden is shown to be in the "cyborg ninja" state he was in during the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, although with different armor.

I believe that GT5 is gunna have more than the normal. Damage is going to be in the game, according to the video shown at the press conference. And there are new race types as well.

Just got home from E3 and man, it is exhausting working this convention. Regardless, it was pretty cool. Was in the audience for Attack of the Show, got my butt whooped by Street Fighter world champ Justin Wong, and played Zelda Spirit Tracks and got a free Spirit Tracks Stylus. Overall, not a bad first day.

Ok sweet, damage is a great start! I just hope they fix the actual game mechanics so it takes skill to win races. At the very least they should implement an HP limit for each race.
