That's the most endings since Chrono Trigger!

Do they say how these different endings are brought about? What factors does the game tally up in order to give you a specific ending?

That's what I want to know. As I said, Star Ocean 2 advertised that it had over 80 different endings, when each ending was merely a 30 second in-game scene about what that character was doing by him or herself, or with another character. They weren't as extravagent as one would be led to believe when they want to see the ending of an epic RPG.

Same! This, The Witcher, and a few other games are my main reasons for getting a new PC. Sure, it's on the 360, but Fallout just isn't Fallout on anything but the PC. :D

And it isn't anything to me unless it's on the PS3. :p

But seriously, this is going to be great no matter what console/PC you play it on and I can't wait.

If it's like 1 & 2, there will be key towns/areas where a single task can be accomplished by multiple methods, each giving you a different outcome that is reflected in the series of vignettes shown at the end of the game. Basically, it pieces together a custom slideshow and narration based on the decisions you made in the game, so there are many possible combinations, but none are entirely new endings.

Oh yeah, and......WOOT!!! FALLOUT 3 !!! YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, having more than all five voice actors that were in Oblivion is a tough feat to overcome. :lol

Fallout 3 Collector's edition revealed

As if you needed more incentive to pre-order the game, the Bethesda Blog has now revealed "representational images" of the Fallout 3 Collector's Edition. Based on the above design, the Vault Boy bobble head will likely be the same vertical size as the Vault-Tec lunch box, and the hardcover art book about the same diameter as a DVD. Alongside the game, it all looks like it will fit neatly into the carrier, which should be sturdy enough to block its contents from our drool.
