Trust someone who played the first Fallout when I say that if you aren't close to your enemy, your chances of hitting them aren't too good. As you level up, you'll get more accurate, but at first, you are probably more likely to get a headshot aiming normally than you are through VATS. In fact, in the video, when they first used VATS with the sniper, the player only had about a 20% chance of hitting. That was somewhat skewed because both of his arms were injured at the time, but I agree.Nova said:Did you see the percentages when he used VATS and the nuke launcher? It was 3% for most of the guys, and 1% for the head. He only hit them because he had some sort of auto-hit / aimbot going on.
