Yeah I would guess that they would wanna change that, considering what Yuri is... Plus what GM said, it's a girl name.

The most popular usage of the word Yuri is to refer to girl/girl action. And not just relationships (which is shoujo-ai) but yuri specifically is used to refer to female/female pairings where they do more than just kiss, if you catch my drift. :lol And they came up with that in Japan, so I'll be really surprised if they keep his name as "Yuri" in Japan. Personally it's just kind of awkward, IMO. But if they don't change his name I suppose I'll get used to it.

Ah, well they changed the Nintendo Revolution to the Nintendo Wii which is a lil more suggestive, but we all got used to that. :lol

We'll just have to see how this goes. Now that I know what it means, I might laugh a couple times during character conversations..haha. :lol

That's because America was the only country who thought of that when they heard Wii. That passed after the first day, though.

I...don't think so. It was also thought of in Italy, Turkey, and Great Britain just to name a few. But hey, to each their own.

Go with Tales of the Abyss on the PS2. The battle system in Vesperia is an upgrade of the battle system in Abyss.

The biggest difference is the Free Run ability in Abyss. It gives you the ability to attack enemies from angles other than head-on. You can also dodge attacks with the Free Run ability. I'm not sure how to describe it really, but in the first part of the game you don't have it, and once you get it you will never want to go back.

The battle system in Abyss is a little better than Symphonia's. But you might miss the Unison attacks and having a summoner being able to summon, since both of those are missing from Abyss.
