The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic *mild spoilers*

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

Lame! And what do you get for collecting those? MORE RUPEES!!!

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

It's a good way of making rupees after using them all for donations in Kakariko Village. You probably get something for collecting all golden bugs too, but I'm still missing a few.

I know that collecting all the poes gives you unlimited rupees.

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

yeah and collecting golden bugs upgrades your rupee bag :D

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

I was wondering how to upgrade that thing cuz mines still at 300 and I was getting annoyed only being able to carry chump change around

I think you all should stop complaining about the simpleness of Twilight Princess. If you want a challenge, go get a sudoku book.

Wow, that's a little condescending, IMO.

It's like someone said, many people bought Wiis just for Twilight Princess. It should have been more challenging because that's what people expect from the series. Past Zelda games have been challenging. Twilight Princess did not meet that expectation.

Therefore, people who say it is too simple have every right to voice their opinion. If they want to complain, how is playing sudoku going to change that? It has nothing to do with Zelda.

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

Yeah, hopefully the next installment of Zelda will up the ante when it comes to difficulty.

Oh and Jack, if you're telling me Sudoku puzzles are hard for you...I feel kinda bad for you. :lol

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

Maybe if TP had a much better storyline I would have forgiven how easy it was. But these games are never really about storylines, they're just an afterthought.

And Sudoku puzzles aren't really that tough. They are good exercise for your brain though, at least that's what Dr. Kawashima told me.

Yeah, Black Belt sudoku is kind of tough for all of us who don't have an extrodinarily high IQ.

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

Done in 37 hours. Got 60 some on it now. That's just the first file. 20 on the second.

EDIT: Sudoku's just knowing your numbers through nine. If that's hard. :/

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

Ok let's just drop the sudoku thing before this turns into a flame war. There is no reason to insult anyone's intelligence.

Twilight Princess is easy if you are a seasoned Zelda veteran. That is all. It is a valid complaint.

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

The thing is, Sudoku isn't intelligence. It's knowing one through nine. And knowing what a row, column, and box is.

But I haven't played any others. Only a little part of Wind Waker. This was just a very easy game in general for me.

Well there you go! I was just kind of guessing, but if it's easy for people that have never played Zelda, then it's easy, and therefore complaining that it is easy is a valid complaint. ^_^ I'm just trying to make the point to Jack, that we are complaining about it being easy because it IS easy, not because we are lame. XD!

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

I started playing this again today and got throught the Temple of Time and then on a quest to the Forgotten City but I really just... don't want to. It seems like more of a chore than an exciting adventure so I think I'm going to sell this game tomorrow while the price is still high

Re: The Official "How Far Are You In Zelda" Topic

I started playing again last night.

If you recall, my launch Wii died with my 15+ hour Zelda file, so I had to start Zelda all over again.

I am currently back up to the part right before the third dungeon.

Man I have such a long way to go. :nope

I left the game for so long that I decided to delete my file and will be starting a new game soon. I'd just beaten Arbiters Grounds last time.

I hate how slow the console Zelda games start. It took me like a year and some to build up the desire to beat Wind Waker. It turned out to be an awesome game and is one of my favorites in the series, but still. I have a feeling TP is going to be the same. When I eventually beat it I'll love it but right now it's like "Man this is so long."

Mai, the Ramp up time for this game is the longest in any game ive ever seen. Only the last 4 or so hours are any good.

I felt that all the dungeons except the last two was the best part of the game, the last two seemed to be thrown together and not as well thought out
