I thought you get to choose who dies?

Not to mention stupid. He STILL thinks they're vampires. xDCreepinDeth said:Francis is weak. He should be the one to go.
I know! He does that ALL the time!Grindspine said:I played a campaign of No Mercy on advanced earlier. Francis kept stealing all the pills, then immediately taking them, regardless of health.
After he took his pills, then grabbed pills I needed, I'd had enough. I gunned him down right there and picked my pills from his body... Jerkface!
I blame Microsoft.Hakumen said:Why does it have to be a L4D1 guy who dies?

First up, the Midnight Riders collide with Rock Band. The gang over at Harmonix have released two Midnight Riders's songs for Rock Band! You can check them out here and download them in game to play in the comfort of your own home. "The Passing" will feature a brand new slow power ballad; "Save Me Some Sugar".
What happens when a 1939 film classic collides with Left 4 Dead? Check out Agnostes' awesome Left 4 Dead campaign poster he made for a Wizard of Oz concept art contest to find out.
What happens when Half-Life 2: Episode one collides with Left 4 Dead 2? Mixmedia's City 17. Alyx would be proud.
What about TF2 and L4D2 colliding? That would be Jsparakov's Badwater Basin map. And for worlds colliding into worlds colliding, check-out TF2's and Sam & Max's collision currently going on.
So enough worlds colliding, when is "The Passing" coming out? Well... if it was coming out next week we would say right here - Left 4 Dead 2's The Passing is coming out next week and we will be updating the blog next week with more news on the release. There you go.

360 will recieve the new DLC...which means PC users may get it on that day..
Holy crap cakes! New content WEEKLY?!?!?! oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!MegaDrive20XX said:While confirming a Thursday release date for Left 4 Dead 2's "The Passing" downloadable content, Valve also reveals "Mutations," featuring more than 20 new game modes rotated on a weekly basis, from "Realism Versus" to "Chainsaw Massacre."
It's official: Left 4 Dead 2's The Passing will be out on Thursday, April 22 for the Xbox 360 and PC, and it's much more than a new episode, new infected, and a couple of new weapons. According to Valve, The Passing will also include a brand new way to play the game that'll keep players coming back every week for more.
"Mutations," are a series of new game types that Valve will be cycling in and out of the game on a weekly basis. There are more than 20 different "Mutations" planned, including the aforementioned "Chainsaw Massacre," which arms players with chainsaws and an unlimited supply of gasoline.
Now that's my kind of zombie slaughter right there.
All new game modes will be playable on any of Left 4 Dead 2 campaigns, and will be exclusive to players that have purchased The Passing downloadable content.
Purchased being a relative term, of course. Xbox 360 players can expect to pay 560 Microsoft points ($7) for The Passing, while PC players can purchase it for completely free, which I suppose doesn't count as purchasing it at all.
Say WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAT!? O.O
