Played some L4D on expert with Mega and Hylian. It's brutal...we got to chapter 3...that's it.

dude on no mercy on expert when i i play

i get to the tunnels
then into the tunnels
then i get five feet
and theres a tank usually
and if i do get to the ladder
the tank is right there...
waiting to kill us
and then we fail

Valve has confirmed that the title update is the client-side fix meant to address the previously mentioned cheating. No more system link and user-hosted shenanigans for you!

Valve has just released an update for Left 4 Dead that addresses the expert difficulty setting in versus mode, as well as several other fixes:

Finding a dedicated server when starting the game from a lobby is now faster and more reliable
Versus mode is now locked to Normal difficulty
Difficulty on a server is now locked to the one set by the lobby reservation
Fixed lagouts/spikes after level transition
Fixed directory issue with spray logs in some cases
Fixed video settings not saving after closing video options dialog
Corrected a boomer suicide exploit
Several minor localization fixes
Fixed disabling cheats incorrectly resetting data

Valve declined to offer up anymore details about what the SDK update and DLC might include, but speaking with Faliszek in late December he hinted that new content might include opening op all multiplayer maps to versus mode on the console and "other things."

Pleeeeeeeeeease let it be TRUE!! :D
