Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Mega's packing heat. This I cannot lie, but just remember, Nintendo didn't just leave 2 games for us to shoot at. (Link's Crossbow & Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles) Here's their unknown, less heard of, brothers.
Medal of Honor HEROES 2 (Features an Arcade mode, Campaign FPS, and Multiplayer mode that has up to 32 PLAYERS online via Wi-Fi! A first for a Wii game!). Basically this game is like the many Medal of Honor games, but has a nice twist when using the Wii Zapper like you're really in the action. If you want just a hardcore Arcade-shooter, then you're in luck, the Arcade mode is like Virtua Cop. Shootin' dem Nazis is FUN! yee haw! ^_^ The online mode I have not tried yet, but I just hope it doesn't have lag city, however I never really experienced lag on a Wii Wi-Fi game.
GHOST SQUAD. A port of a Sega Arcade Shooter from 04'. Better late, than never I suppose? This game developed by the AM2 team, uses similar graphics found from Virtua Fighter 4 on PS2. I would definitely consider this a testing ground for Sega when they prepare HOTD collection in March, I have to admit, the bonus unlockables are quite hiliarious. For example, a panda outfit for your soldier or a BANANA dagger...yes a banana instead of a combat knife. Brilliant isn't it? Don't forget to save hostages! lol Cheesy dialogue like the classic House of the Dead & Virtua Cop games haunt this game as well. good ol' ENGRISH ^_^ This game is closer to a true Virtua Cop sequel, which makes my old Sega heart cry that I wish Sega would have made a real Virtua Cop 3.
So overall, I have to say, the price of Ghost Squad being $29.99 is awesome, but it is a short game since it really is an Arcade shooter, but the unlockables are the only thing that make me return to it.
Medal of Honor Heroes 2 being $49.99? Yeah that's questionable, but 3 modes of play and the game is quite lengthy, so I was okay paying that price. It was like paying for Call of Duty 3 brand new, however finally have a Wii game that finally uses the full multiplayer abilities ONLINE is a must-try.
