The Ultimate Zelda Tattoo

Yeah, but the thing is that the tattoo artist did not create that art himself. That particular image was taken from artwork from a Japanese Zelda soundtrack. I have that soundtrack and I scanned the full color image. If I send it to you, you can post it BV. It's a lot prettier in color.

Yeah, it is awesome either way. :)

It's just sad that a lot of people are giving the guy grief because he got a gaming tattoo. :( If you read the replies, some people are even like, "OMG, what a waste. That's gonna look retarded when you're like 60." Or saying, "Why did you have to pick the gayest Link?"

I would get a gaming tattoo if I wasn't phobic about needles. I would just get a triforce though.

That is a cool tattoo!! I wouldn't get it but it still looks cool.

I've seen a small triforce tattoo in NP, looked good. :af

Who ever the artist of that tatoo is amazing! But I do wonder...how much do that cost? I know it has to be over $200, cause that's huge! :o

Well, so far, it's taken two sessions, one session for bowser, color and all. He was about 1.5 hours. Then, the rest of the outline was 2.5 hours in another session.

I can't afford to go super crazy and do everything at once like the Zelda man, but I am working on a video game/comic book/retro sleeve. It'll be done prolly by next year....

Well, that primarily depends on the artist and your location. Some artists charge by the hour, which includes set-up time, artwork time, and whatnot. Some will only charge you for the time that you're sitting in teh chair being worked on, and others will charge a flat rate for the piece, or a combination of all three... So it really depends.

My advice is that if you're looking at getting some Ink done, look for the best artist that you can find. You'll have this on you for the rest of your life, so even if you end up paying a little more for it, it's worth that much to have a nice piece of work on you.

And besides, if you divide that up into the lifetime of the tattoo, it's not even fractions of a penny a day anyways :)

Sorry, I wish I could be more help!
