The Wii/PS3 like the DS/PSP?

But I've actually played both. I play Gears on insane, and I've done the online stuff. So...that's all I'm saying. I personally think they are equally hardcore. It's nothing personal. :)

She never said you were, she said it's why people think you are. She is right, there's no real reason Metroid isn't hardcore.

well the other metroid primes were really hard and i can't think of a metroid game that is not hardcore.

i agree on-line gaming doesn't make hardcore games, because before on-line gaming we had lots of hardcore games in systems like the N64 and PS1

well you don't have a wii so you didn't saw the metroid preview, and in the videos the game looks really hardcore to me, plus if you want to make the game harder, you can just skip the energy thanks, (i made a challenge like that in games like zelda and metroid prime 2, try finish twilight princess with only 5 hearts,i have to try)

not liking metroid doesn't make you anti-nintendo, however the way you say some things make you look like one.

and little big planet i just seen one trailer it just reminds me of pikmin (a really good game) but i don't know is one of those games i have to try before judge it

That works for me.

But at least give it a try when you pick up another Wii. :)

Oh I definitely will. I don't only buy hardcore games :p but Metroid Prime 3 definitely looks like a must-buy for Wii owners.

Zidart. Yeah, I saw the game play videos...it's called youtube. :lol
Also, I used to have a Wii...and will have another one soon. I don't really mind if people see me as coming off as anti-Nintendo, as long as you're smart enough to realize otherwise. :)

You can also abuse the Energy Tanks. You lose one every time you go into Hyper Mode. I'm not sure if it's temporary.

oh right i forgot about that,

im only gonna use hyper mode in boss battles, every kind of super power i always save it for the boss, ( im cheap sometimes)

I'm only going to use it if I absolutely have to. I don't want to lose my precious energy.

Sometimes. A lot of crappy games can be better with some challenge. If it's too easy, that can ruin it.

of course but a really hard game is frustrating, i like games that are hard but not frustrating, like god of war

according to strubes

:lol

Do I....know you?

Obviously you haven't read well into my posts. A game doesn't have to be hard to be hardcore. I don't know where you came up with the fact that I said that. You might wanna keep your posts to yourself if you're just going to blatantly call someone out on something.

Although it will be a good game, I don't see how it's hardcore at all. Especially for the genre.
Dude, Metroid Prime is not for casual gamers. Firstly, the boss fights are some of the most challenging in all of gaming. Casual gamers beware. Secondly, its more of a thinking man's game, with puzzles, which lacks the pick up and play mechanic of a game like Halo, something that isn't appealing to a casual gamer. Metroid Prime, is indeed for hardcore gamers, which is why it only sold a million copies, and just because you have a distaste for it doesn't mean its suddenly for casual gamers.
