they sent me a faulty xbox 360

i just got my 360 back today. i noticed that it wasnt mine, as mine had my name on it. the new piece of shit they sent me makes a chainsaw-like noise when u put a disc in. why!? why does it do the noise!? and dont give me "its the fans" because those never sounded like a ****ing chainsaw before

anyone?
 
Mine does that, they gave the the fan crap answer when I asked them.  It's the drive...  Make sure your eject button works fine cause it might be messed up like mine is. When you push the button does the tray stay out or go right back in?
 
my mom will have them send me a brand spankin new one factory sealed. believe me, they will have new buttholes when she is done with them. she will talk (scream) to the supervisor.
 
Yeah, they told me not to expect to get my xbox back when I sent it in, and I didnt.....but at least mine works, for now. Except I do get occasional disk read errors......I dont know if thats the drive or what.

Call them and throw a fit. Seriously. I know how those Microsoft tech people are. I talked to 3 of them, and only one of them had any idea what they were talking about, and one of their mistakes was telling me I had to pay for my own shipping. Little did I know that 2 days after I shipped mine out, a box came in the mail to ship it in for free....so that was about 15 bucks wasted.

I would call them up and if they don't help you, try talking to management.

Its the more experienced workers at any tech service

Level one are the people that like the noobs and make you do **** that you know won't help with you're problem. Basically for grandpas and grandmas not knowing how to even hook stuff up.

Level two is the people that have been there for a couple years and know what there doing. U are here in this category.

Level three is the highest of the pole. These are the guys that will do all the advanced ****. Picture the guy that killed the players in the "Make Love, not Warcraft" episode of South Park.

honestly, they have the best games, but they make a crappy console. its ok, i have to wait another 2-3 weeks for the xbox. but my mom got me a free kameo: elements of power

honestly i think you should spent more time with your wii while your XBOX is away specially because this and next month the wii has a lot of new amazing titles (well the 360 is not gonna get something interesting in a while anyway).

after listening to your video i have to say that i won't buy a 360 until these problems are solved XD until microsoft doesn't make a less than 10% failure rate console i will not buy it (unless ubisoft decides to make a sequel of the naruto game for the 360 xD then i would not care)

Burnout: Paradise, Turok, DMC 4, and Lost Odyssey are all coming out within the next four weeks.

EDIT: Oh, and there are no problems with consoles made within the last few months, Zidart.

darn it i forgot of those >_> (specially because i still think DMC4 is ps3 exclusive) and i was not aware of either lost ofyssey and turok release dates.... well i tried to console you hines but i guess you must wait to play those games

and if that's true cherry then i will make a thread "when am i gonna get enough money for a 360" :lol
