This news.... is the news I do not like

Well, I'm just saying, if their having a cash flow problem, Microsoft would be right there to "help", and they'd probably be willing to "help" a lot more than Sony.

And the new Conker game can be compared to the old one, gameplay wise, just with mind blowing graphics, and massive online play.

I know Microsoft bought Rare, but what happened to most of the licenses that Nintendo kept, like the Banjo-Kazooie franchise? I haven't heard anything about any new games being developed from them (other than Donkey Konga and the other one (Jungle Beat?)).

Is anyone planning on gettting the new Starfox? I don't know if I will or not, depends on how it looks nearing it's release date.

not sure yet..

I haven't decided.

If it was an all flying starfox... I'd be there... but I am tired of ground fighting... even in a tank (like Starfox 64).

I want an ALL flying game... like the 1st one... where you could fly in outterspace... on cool planets... planet to planet.... conquering all.

AND when you could fly through HUGE spaceships and blow up their core.... then you have to escape.

That is what I thought was AWESOME!

YAH!!! WE ARE PROGRESSING, Eh Stealth :)

No... but seriously... thats what "us" gamers need... an all out in the cockpit Starfox. KICKING SOME SERIOUS SPACESHIP BUTT!!

That would be one vast game, provided you aren't conquering a 5 by 5 mile square of it.

Lol, I guess so BV.

I just really want to have that old school arcade experience with Starfox. I don't want to be able to switch vehicles on the fly and run around. I just want better graphics, different levels, and simple gameplay additions that enhance the initial experience.

have you played the original? you don't necessarily conquer 5 by 5 mile :lol
you whoop 1 planet at a time :)

Stealth... same here man... I need a game like that actually. That would be too cool to have a game like that again!

Yeah, Nintendo have bought shares in Bandai..or at least I think it was them..

Nintendo has been with Yamauchi for years and I can't see him letting it go anytime soon. Microsoft are likely to want to buy anyone that might help them dominate the console market, so this isn't much of a surprise.

I might just be really congested from a head cold and tired at the moment, but does that last post pertain to anything mentioned in this thread?

I actually doubted that it did myself there for a minute. The latter comment's relevance should have been cogent with the thread being based on Bill Gates wanting to buy Nintendo. The Bandai thing was following on from what Nephlabobo said:

If anything, they'd likely merge with Bandai, who have a ton of money from games and toys. I honestly can't see Nintendo merging with any company outside of Japan - no matter how desperate their situation. It's just the way the Japanese are.

I should have quoted. Not sure why I didn't, actually.
