stealth toilet said:I remember after the Gamecube came out Nintendo was questioned about when they were planning on developing their next system. The answer they gave was something along the lines of "development has already begun, I don't know where people get the idea that we stop thinking about the future."
The moral of the story is, gaming companies like Nintendo, or in this case Microsoft, are always thinking about and developing future consoles. That doesn't mean they're ignoring the current ones.
If gaming giants did not keep pushing the technology, we would all e happy playing 2600 games. Game developer and companies are always looking for better was to use current technology. Just because one system has launched does not mean the company stops growing or looking to expand.
