Trouble with Gmod

I got Garrys Mod version 10 right and it starts fine and runs fine only i can't see any guns nor can i see items,NPCs or ragdolls i spawn, but the weird thing is is that i do spawn them because when i spawned a zombie i got attacked and died i just couldn't see it BUT when i downloaded this dinosaur ragdoll pack and this Zelda ragdoll pack i can see them...so basically i cant see anything originally in the game but i can see anything i spawn from a mod.

Reason I'm posting this is because ive looked every where and i haven't seen any one have this exact problem...and it's very frustrating.

Have you tried the usual? Reinstalling/updating drivers, reinstalling the game, configuring graphics settings, applying all Windows updates, etc?

Your cache files might be corrupted. I suggest uninstalling the game (check your Steamapps folder to make sure the GCF's get deleted), and redownloading it.
