Turok

I havnt played it yet, but I enjoyed the N64 ones, great for its time. Its nice that there keeping it original. Hopefully nintendo will release Turok on VC somtime soon, I hate how they make me wait lol.
 
I have not played the demo, but something inside me tells me they got it all wrong. Out of all the ad's and screenshots I have looked at, I have not seen one aspect of platforming or secrets like in the old Turok games. So, while I have not totally written the game off, part of me just feels like it's a cheap rip-off of other shooters, minus all the great parts of the original series.
 
ok... Turok used to be done by acclaim which went belly up.

I take it Acclaim sold the rights to this to Touchstone / Propaganda?

Rare was never involved with this game, correct?

This game was produced by Touchstone and made by Buena Vista games (Disney owns them) How cool is that? Disney can get violent too! :lol

And Turok 1 and 2 was cool... after that though, it wasn't.

Turok on the Gamecube wasn't bad, just not like 1 and 2.

You're a brave man BV...I played Turok Evolution on Xbox...just once..then we sat in silence....and it *sings* DIED IN MY ARMS TONIGHT! Was it something I said!? *guitar solo*

Yet I agree! Turok 1 and 2 were brilliant, I just think, "What went wrong."
 
Turok Dinosaur Hunter is the best one in the series. Hands down.

The new one is alright...I'll buy it when it goes down in price, but it's not really worth the money right now. The gun handling just seems poorly constructed, and I know that the knife is really all you need (lol), but the guns are a necessity.
