Yep, I might be purchasing a Gamecube through BV. Haha I have begun the talks on negotiations. :lol

Hopefully we can come to some sore of agreement. :p

I've jus become convinced that the Cube has some great games that I can't get on my PS2 or Xbox.

Maybe after purchasing this, I can finally decide which, In MY eyes, is the superior system. :lol
 
Although I don't have the Cube, I do know from family members that have one that it isn't a slouch. And it has soem pretty cool games on it too. So I guess the media hype is all bogus.

And it's good that you're getting it from BV. I'm getting a Genesis from him as soon as he actually gives me a price!! :lol
 
yay! Congrats Strubes! I love my Cube. First thing you need to get, is a GB Player for it. 2 in 1 Combo system is a nice touch and you get the best of both worlds!
 
$50 for a brand new one still, but if you find one used, it's like $29 or $39.

Yet the beauty of it, once you have one with the boot up disc, you're set to go.

Kind of sad when a GB Player is cheaper to get a hold of then a brand new GB mirco or GBA SP....makes no sense to me honestly.

Play GBA and GBC and GB games on your Cube :)
 
I think the Gamecube's trademark is fun games, very few games that take themselves super seriously
SSBM and Mario Kart, just some examples
 
Man, me too Strubes, that game is way confusing and it's so illogical compared to other games. The Shadowgate they did for N64 was alot better and made more sense. It's actually one of my favorite games, forsure.
 
Yea, it's well worth it though. I mean I basically bought a cube for Metroid, Zelda and Resident Evil 1 alone and I have been happy with alot of it's titles. When I played Mario Kart DD for the first time I was like "wow I havn't had this much fun since Mario Kart 64!!".... :)

Didn't someone say a special thing that EB has like when it's games being turned in for a system?
