Ok so i was playing halo2 on xbox live for about 2hours...i decided i was bored of it and wanted to play COD2 (360) and i put the disk in and it said
"Please insert this disk into an Xbox 360 console, thank you"

and i looked down at my console thinking my old xbox magically came to life, put itself back together, and changed shaped....but to my forunate luck it was my 360...then i realized......GRR!! help me!

So you're saying that your brand new 360 is not wanting to play 360 games?? Maybe it switched to the Dark Side of the Force. Pop a PS2 game in to check!!

I'd say call Microsoft and see if they'll warranty their product. If it's starting to give you trouble now, then disaster is sure to follow.

It seems more likely some idiot put Xbox hardware in a 360 case. Or you could just have the worst luck in the world. I like the 360, but not enough to get one. I'm waiting for the PS3.

I think it's his bad luck. :lol

Squash Boy, I say box it back up and bring it back to Wally World (or wherever you got it) and tell them to make it right. Or call Microsoft and get them to fix the problem. That system is way too new to have any problems.

now... I know this isn't nice but that is hilarious! (especially the description)
:lol :lol :lol

did you get this resolved?  I am curious about that :lol

Did you play Halo 2 on your Xbox OR Xbox  360 for 2 hours?  IF you played it on the 360... I could see that somehow... just maybe the Xbox emulator (that plays Xbox games on the Xbox 360) got stuck or something... IE it didn't come out of memory... or something messed up...

This is a curious problem though :)  LMK what the outcome is.

"Please insert this disk into an Xbox 360 console, thank you"
:lol that message tends to get a reaction of:
"READ IT OR I BREAK YOU WITH A BASEBALL BAT!!"

†B†V† :hat

Not wanting to play the games hey. This could be a problem, but it seems fixable. Maybe it had somethoing to do with you playing X-box live for 2 hours? Though I fail to see how this would affect it. Contemplate this, I shall.

it worked with other games at the time..now it's all good...but i returned COD2 to giant eagle so no more game :'( hahah

BV you gotta love the descrption!!!!
