Underated Games

I always thought that the Shenmue series was underrated. many of the people that I have talked to have said that its pretty boring. I thought it had a great story and the gameplay to match.
 
Beyond Good and Evil (PS2, XBOX, GC) is a great game that not many people played.

Voodoo Vince (XBOX) is another really cool game that didn't get much attention.
 
Fighting Vipers on Saturn
Three Dirty Dwarves on Saturn
Dynamite Headdy on Genesis/GameGear
Flicky on Genesis
Shinobi and Nightshade for PS2
 
Gladius for the ps2 was a really cool gladiator game. I never here anyone talk about it though. You get to manage your very own team of gladiators and fight (turn-based) against other (npc) gladiators. If there was an online mode it would be amazing.

There are tons of games that I could say that for, one being GT4
I still dont have it yet. :'(

Another being Winning Eleven 8, right now it is the greatest soccer game ever made for a video game, just think if it had online mode. It would blow my mind. :o
 
I know FIFA has online, I play it all the time. I was talking about Winning Eleven 8. No I have never played Gladius, but I read the review and it seems pretty cool. Maybe I will check it out.
 
Hey, I own the game Dynamite Headdy for the Sega Genesis. That was a good game...

I always thought the Smuggler's Run series was underrated, on PS2 and GC. As well, Winback: Covert Operations for the 64 was a huge diamond in the rough.

When I was on vacation I was playing that game with my friend. It seemed sweet, I just never got the game. I think we played the first one.

I definately agree. I played Dark Cloud a bit and would have loved to actually own that game. And Oni was the first one I owned for the PS2, which I was addicted to, though I never did quite beat it.

I don't know if anyone ever heard of Tales of Symphonia, cuz nobody around here did. That was another good one.
Also, the Red Faction games, dunno if anyone knew about them either.

I've played through it twice, I still only know a few people who have actually played the Tales series
