Video Game Confessions!

~ I don't really like pc games prehaps if my comp was better i might
~ Despite loving kingdom hearts Donald Duck annoyed the hell out of me
~ Ive got all the Kingdom Hearts series 1 action figures ~ya don't laugh~
~Acutally ive got of the final fantasy 8 ones to lol

~My first game system was the Magnavox Odyssey -- I swear those T.V. overlays made me color blind. :D

~The Commodore Vic20 was my first personal computer. Oh, how I miss that clunky tape drive! Adventure Land was my first foray into text adventures (Scott Adams was a God)

~I traded in my entire game collection (Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Turbografx-16 + CD-Rom drive, SNES, and 100+ games) for my first Neo-Geo system back in the early 1990's. I still don't regret doing it even to this day. ::D

~I have owned just about every game system known to mankind with one exception: the FM Town Marty; those things are like the Holy Grail -- you can never find one!

~Using Chucky Cheese tokens in the MK3 machine at my local Arcade. :D Ummm... I'm innocent, I swear!

~I spend too much time playing videogames.
 
*Bump* I got a couple more...

- I'm considering buying all the PSone GTA games and GTA 3 just to have the whole set. I also want the all Resident Evil games (including ones like Survivor and Dead Aim). In other words, i'm a huge sucker for collections.

- I prefer Splinter Cell over Metal Gear Solid.

- I have 4 games that I haven't yet played due to having too many unbeaten games. Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (GC), Resident Evil Zero (GC), Ratchet & Clank (PS2) and Mario & Luigi (GBA) have all not been touched.

heh, what fighter actually has a good story ^_^

- i still dont understand how xbox survived off halo alone. there are many more pc fps's that are better. good game, but i think is the most overrated game, possibly to date.

- i regularly kill new people when i play RE:Outbreak online because it humors me

- still my highest amount of straight gameplay is a little over 38 hours. love hosting the LANs with 16 people

- i've easily spent over 2000 hours on tekken tag tournament

-I have never played a better fps than Halo and yet people still say Halo is overrated

-I didn't like Halo when I first played it

-Between Morrowind, Dark cloud 2 and FFX, I have logged in more than 1000 hours of gaming

-I loved harvest moon 64

-to date my 2 favorite games EVER are OOT and Mario64
 
After playing Halo and loving it, I still hated Xbox

I think the Splinter Cell series is less than 5/10(singleplayer)

I usually prefer to be a good guy when I play games like Morrowind, Fable, etc
 
-Part of the reason why I don't like GTA is because I don't like playing the part of a criminal, even if it is just a video game. I would run around the game instead of hijacking cars because I didn't want the police to come after me.

-I don't like being mean to characters in video games. I had trouble in Tales of Symphonia getting the Kratos ending because it meant having to be mean to Zelos. :( And even though I like Sheena and want the Sheena ending, it's really hard for me to be mean to Collette because Collette really likes Lloyd.

-I like Tales of Symphonia over any particular Zelda game, but the Zelda series as a whole stomps everything else.

-I'm trying to avoid media on Resident Evil 4 because I am already totally hyped for it. I can't wait to play it!!! My anticipation for RE4 is almost equal to my anticipation for Halo 2.

-I pre-ordered another copy of the Halo 2 Collector's Edition to sell someday on eBay along with the Halo bundle XBOX I am saving just for eBay.

-I really want to get Paper Mario 2 but I haven't even started on the first Paper Mario.

-My friend says I have "video game ADD" because I'm always playing so many at the same time.

Empathy shouldn't be applied to C++.

Of course, I admire your courage to come forth and post it in this thread. Admitting it is the first step towards recovery, trust me on this.
 
Hey, Lulu was hot. If she didn't look so gothic and had a better personality, I bet all hetro's would of been attracted to her.
 
aww, you're gonna hurt feelings saying uneducated. you need to gauge your audiences age.

- felt guilty using the adjustments in the ff origins game compared to playing it in its true form
- wish i didn't suck at guilty gear xx but my hands don't have the timing necessary
- play ninja gaidens religiously and still can't beat the 2nd one
 
eh, to each their own, if it makes your day, tis nothing better.
you'll get that kind of reaction from me if you prize doa over tekken or mvc2 or some other good game.

- thinks doa is worthless
- hates when games only have two actual buttons like punch and kick. meaning, don't like vf (even though i concede it is a good game, just not my cup of tea, and doa which i think only sells b/c of fanservice)

-I actually have copies of Tribes and Delta Force 2 unopened because I haven't "felt like" playing them yet. Granted, I didn't buy these games when they were new, but I have had them for over a year

-I seriously wasted a huge portion of my life playing Warcraft 3 and its expansion

-I actually managed to quit playing both of those games (am one whole month without them :) )

-I have bought both a Game Boy Advance and GB Color, but only have 1 GBC game and 2 GBA games... and I have played less than 3 hours total on my GBA

That's about it for now...
 
- I've fallen to temptation and am gonna purchase both Pokemon LeafGreen AND FireRed versions. Both for collection value and to get every single Pokemon by myself.

- I often buy gaming magazines on impulse. A lot of them haven't even been read much.

- Between Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and X, i've easily logged in over 1000 hours of my life.
 
i think i accounted just for final fantasy 4,6,7 i'm pretty sure i easily cracked 1000
i've been each through more times than i can remember
 
-I listen to nothing but video game soundtracks in my car.

-Most played soundtrack: Tales of Symphonia

-I am working on my ToS review at the same time as I'm browsing this forum. :lol

-I left a Burnout 3 session on XBL because I sucked and didn't want to keep bringing my team down. But I kicked butt on the Party Crash sessions. :D
