Video Game Confessions!

<~~~~is great at starting games but not finishing them

I've played most of the Wii games that I own, just haven't beaten them is all.

-I have Shadow Of The Collusus {sp?} but have never popped it in once.
-I like FF9 way more than FF7
-I've never played a Mega Man game for more then 5 minutes
-I have little to no interest in any of the Guitar Hero/Rock Band/etc., games.
-I have said I would in the past, but in all reality I will probably never buy a PS3. {that could change of course, but as of now...no}

i played a guitar hero game for the first time this week.

it was.... AWESOME!!!!!!!

Blasphemy! :lol

On a related note, I have beat every boss except the last one. I refuse to play it because I don't want to admit the game is over. The experience of playing it was too good, so I want to make it last as long as possible, I suppose. It doesn't really make sense, but I feel determined to keep the status quo nonetheless, hence why it is a shameful confession.

I thought I was the only one who thought that with certain games. :lol

I actually played SotC without a memory card. I just loved the feel of the game that even starting a new game I was enjoying it. It's really one of the few modern games that I feel comfortable without playing with a memory card.

Ha, I know exactly what you mean! I always get a little depressed when a really good game comes to end. Sometimes I will quit before the end because I know I will play the game again and I like to leave a little something to look forward to. Usually though, by the time I end up playing the game again I have forgot so much it's fun again. So maybe that's what you should do with SOC; quit it now and start a new game in the future :) I really need to play that game, though!

This is exactly how I feel when it comes to games. It feels shameful that I won't beat it, but I don't want the story to be over with.

Actually, it has been like 2 years now almost since I quit playing it. I might go back and do that.

well i do beat the games but every time i want a game to beaten at 100% and that's when i stop, and even if i beat the game at a 100% i still play it again later on XD, so i guess i understand how you feel but not quite

Its like being in an AA support group...

Hi my name is [Weaponepsilon] and I...Sigh...am a video game addict....

-I own almost every gamesystem

-Rather than buying the last 10 systems retail, I have bought them broken off of ebay and repaired them at a fraction of the price.

-I learned that Guitar hero is easy to play WITHOUT the bulky guitar controller. By virtue, I learned how it was wired simply by playing without...

-I cannot go onto ebay without running several searches on the things I missed in the past.

-I once worked at an arcade/entertainment place at the mall of America when it closed. A buddy and I ended up taking all the tokens home and found that they worked quite nicely at another arcade. We spent hours and won tons of tickets for their redemption booth. Years later, a worker from that arcade ran into me and told the weirdest story on an excess of tokens that appeared in their machines...

-I buy and trade games and amass loads that I have never touched simly because there aren't enough hours in the day.

-I played certain games till I literally fell over and passed out. Sometimes with the "Bleeding Eyes Syndrome".

-I actually hated working retail establishment centered around gaming. Not only did my paycheck go back into said establishment, i had to deal with a lot of whining gamer larva.

-When I tell people that I bought a complete, working copy of Chrono Trigger for $20, I enjoy watching them go into fits...

-Same as the above statement exception substitute "Chrono Trigger" and "$20" for something equally rare and unheard of price point...

Bulky guitar controller? Where? Even the Fender is a 3/4 guitar.

I mean comparitively speaking to a standard controller.
Ah. Well, even so, if you play real guitar, you complain how small they are.

Actually I play a six string bass, so I know what bulky is. Bass>guitar....6 string long scale>4 string short scale. I don't know why I just never could get into it. I guess its a gaming midset vs a thrash around and growl one
