Video games have evolved over the past 20 years just as all technology has. However, one theme has emerged recently, violence. shadow run for the sega genesis - futureistic, good story and content, good mix of rpg, puzzle, and platforming favorite all time game

I'd say Age of Empires II because I like strategy games and Medieval times (also like the Total War series)

9 - Broke a Television by throwing a console

KINGDOM HEARTS II! I love the graphics and the music and the gameplay and all teh characetrs and its so fun and has a great story line and I love Roxas!

Or maybe FFVIII because of the music and the cutscene and when Seifer and Squall were fighting at the beginning and than Laguna and his bad knee! Wheee!
 
Well, it chipped the screen and but a crack in teh glass....I can throw really hard...and it was a gamecube...I get scary when Im angry.....fear my wraith RAWR!
 
ha ha thats okay I just took it back to K Mart,even though I bought it at WalMart, told them that I had recieved the game cube as a gift and that it was predamamged and no I didnt have a reciet, they said it was okay and they even through in a free copy of the LoZ:OoT/Masterquest disk, which was nice because my other one was a little worn.

And that's why I love K Mart...now I need to shut up cause I;m spamming this thread >.<

I often get frustrated after playing online because i frequently lose because of crappy teammates, cheaters, or poor gameplay by myself....i dont take it out on anyone really, i just get frustrated with the game

Hmm...probably Halo 2. It has great multiplayer and good graphics....its fun and enjoyable (usually). But the main reason is because of the great online multiplayer.

Legend of Dragoon, because it was my first RPG. And because it is very challenging.
 
While I'm not discrediting this survey's objectivity, it does remind me of another survey I read about a little while ago that dealt with people's behaviour after playing videogames. The purpose of the survey was to try and find a link between playing videogames and an afterward desire to partake in drug and/or alcohol abuse and/or violent behaviour. The study's methodology was brought into serious question when the only demographic of gamers tested were males aged 18 - 21... invariably, college students. The results were obvious, as this demographic would most likely desire to partake in any of the above activities regardless of their exposure to videogames.

An amusing cartoon depicting the study can be found at good ol' Penny Arcade, a link to which I cannot provide due to some curses in the comic itself, which in my opinion only heighten the hilarity. PM me if you want a link.


I do have one question for littlekittie about the survey though, is "getting frustrated" and "quoting the game" considered "acting violently?"

I almost threw my PS2 controller the other day because I was playing FFX and I was in the Omega Ruins, and I had spent almost an hour battling and leveled up everyone a ton and didn't save, and then this stupid monster petrified my whole party and made me have a Game Over. All that work for nothing. Sooooooooooo frustrating.

Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube. It's a beautiful game and it has a great storyline that I can identify with. The voice-acting is also really awesome.
