It was an old game console, by Nintendo, in the mid-90's, that flopped.

*notices massive red mark on Hines' forehead* :lol

Yes:

Virtual Boy on Ebay: $80
Mario Tennis: $10
Eyes bleeding: Priceless

You paid $80? whoa..

I paid $30 for mine last year when someone traded it into my store. I later sold it, it was collecting dust for 5 months lol

Let's see...original history of Virtual Boy...

August 14th, 1995. Original Retail Price: $179.99

Gunpei Yokoi was the creator of this device (The father of the Nintendo GameBoy, it was his last project, sadly 2 years later, in 1997, he was killed in a car wreck)

Each game was $39.99 or $29.99 depending on the title.

Sure it gave you headaches, but for me, it blinded me, and cuts off the blood circulation in both my hands if I held the controller too long. SUPER FUN and hands falling asleep is MORE fun :D

Best games on the Virtual Boy

1. Wario Land
2. Mario Tennis
3. Mario Clash
4. Teleroboxer
5. Red Alarm (Good Star Fox clone)

No I didn't buy it off ebay I got it when it came out, but I was trying to make a funny haha yeah that was stupid.

Oh okay, I thought you were serious. Sorry about that.

Did you know, that it was the fastest system to recieve a price drop? During 1996, you could find it for $20 brand new at Wal-Mart...

Who has one? I have one with three games, mario tennis, wario land, and vertical force.
I have 1... I think I have 4-5 games.

Tennis, Red Alarm, V-tetris, Baseball... and I thought 1 other... I cannot remember now.

I really did like the Virtual Boy... it was a fun system. Red Alarm was great! so was tennis... and I hate to admit I dug V-tetris.

What games do you have?

REALLY?!

wow... I got mine for $150 at launch I think... they were $180... but for whatever reason, $150 is what I got it for.

You know... it is cool that Nintendo tried this... sure it was a failure... but you know, it was a cool attempt. I wish it would have worked out better... and there were so many health issues with the system (which is what I think is the #1 reason that Nintendo canned the system).

If I was to find one, I'd only buy it out of respect to Gunpei Yokoi.
