I love the Retro sections in games magazine...I have one that shows about a 10 page section on the NES...it's awesome.

I subscribed to EGM through a school fundraiser earlier this year. I haven't received a single issue yet, but do you guys think that was a wise choice or did I totally get screwed over?

For info about games before I decide to purchase. When I can be bothered to buy it, I usually check out Edge magazine too. I don't wholly rely on reviews to make the decision for me, but I like to get an idea of the problems with the game's design and those sites usually do the job. Naturally reviews are on person's opinion, so I use them as a guideline, along with people's opinions on forums too.
