IMHO, he's done a very good job. Outside of the huge deficit he's running up (which will definitely come back to bite us eventually), I have no objections to what he's done (none that come to mind at least).
The presidential position has grown tremendously in power and now doesn't have to consult congress for many things. Not only that, but both houses are democratic so running many things by congress is just a formality.
