Re: oldie but goodie: Play Quake, Graduate Anyway

Why thank you Spartan.

I hope I've learned a few helpful things during my long duration as an undergrad. :)

#5 is defenitley true. I skipped the last 2 days of my History class because it was purely review for our final, and I was able to use that time to make-up a plethora of assignments for my other class that I have been falling behind on.

^ great example of damage control.

I would occasionally sleep through an early lecture so I could have enough left in me to work on a paper later that day. The key is if you're going to skip, skip responsibly! Over several years of college, it definitely occurs more than a few times!

I was late for school quite often because it.I have "Super Mario Bros. 3" to thank for it. :lol

It's old, but there's nothing wrong with reviving a topic.

Re: oldie but goodie: Play Quake, Graduate Anyway

I forgot about this thread being made.

I actually sent that to one of my old teachers to see if he could use it to motivate some of the students to try harder in their VCE years.
... never got a reply. LOL

I've been bad since the last time I posted in this topic. :lol

I called in sick to work one night so I could play Mass Effect instead. Of course, that's when I was working overnight and hated it, so it was more like I called out so that I wouldn't have to work, and I ended up playing Mass Effect.
