It's been a long time since I watched anime and today on my first day back in progress I watched the 37th Japanese episode of Yu Yu Hakusho.

Just finished watching Escaflowne, now this is the type of epic Mecha anime I like, i was able to fully enjoy the story the first time through without having to stop to check on wikipedia or ask anyone to explain it to me, the story however was not simple or cliche, it was rather amazing and full of surprises i was not expecting (though i still prefer Gurren Lagann and Eureka Seven over this).
I guess i am more into Series that have an emotional depth rather than a symbolic depth like Evangelion or Rahxephon.

Been watching Neon Genesis Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Isekai no Monotagari. Also finished Sora no Monotoshi.
