i think about 5 or 6 million psp units hav been sold. this iz just an estimate.

well with the EURO launch of PSP that will happen very soon and with the summer season here i'm sure they have much higher numbers. It's quite sureprising for a handheld to have those type of numbers don't you think ;P

That was in march. Obviously they've cracked 3 million by now for sure, and if sales have picked up, maybe even 4.

It could have been 8.5 million if it wasn't for the PSP

Nah.... The DS still wouldn't have sold that much.

The reason sales are increasing for it now is because people are confident in the software coming out for it.... the same reason why the PSP sales are stagnant right now (staying the same).
once some decent software hits it... the PSP will sell better.

Bah, the DS is outselling the PSP because of the big Nintendo label on it, not because PSP software isn't "decent".

Both dont have that much decent content. But the hype of some of the games that are coming out soon are helping out Nintendo. Like Nintendogs and Mario kart. Im sure the PSP will pick up once GTA hits the stores.
