Lux-Pain and Metal Slug 7. The final boss in Metal Slug 7 always gets me!
Also playing some SVC: Chaos to hold me over til my copy of SNK vs Capcom for NGPC comes in the mail.

No way I don't mind! I think it's great! By the way it's not "my" copy anymore, I gave it to you and you're free to do as you wish with it. I actually picked up another copy for super cheap at the pawn shop

And Zid is using both my copy of FF8 and another friends copy of FF8 (Both our disks are weird, one will mess up where the other one plays fine, so he'll have to do that stuff in disk 3 mainly)

Man that is weird because my FF7 has a problem like that. There is a spot on disc one where I enter a new area and it just hangs on the black screen. So I have to use my friends disc to get past that part and than everything is fine. My disc is absolutely flawless, too. Not one single scratch. Never had that problem with any other game.
