What game are you currently playing?

I need new games to play. I've been figiting back and forth through my collection every now and then between work. Can't wait till I've paid for TAFE and a new laptop, then i can re-invest in something new to play. Thinking about the extension for Fallout 3. The 2 add-on's any good? They looked like it. :)
 
KotOR, soon to be moving onto KotOR 2 and I'm also trying to play through KH, KHCom, and KH2 in my free time, since I have never actually played through them in order before.

I should replay the Dark Cloud series. I haven't played either one of them in a few years, but the original has to be one of my favorite RPGs of all time.

Yes you should! It is also one of my favorite RPG's. DC2 was much improved in a lot of areas, but the original is special to me and I kinda like how it is simpler than 2 {no camera, inventions, etc,}.

Yes! I prefer the characters, storyline, and dungeons on the first game compared to the second, even though the second game has a better georama mode. (IN my opinion anyway.)

Exactly! DC1 also had better music, too. From DC2 I loved the georama mode, the fact if you broke a weapon it was not gone forever, the ability to fish pretty much anywhere there was water, and they got rid of that dumb thirst thing. But I do wish the main character could wield swords. Kinda dumb that he couldn't.

I LOVE the music from DC1, there is actually a track that plays while you are in the forest that sounds much like the beginning of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven". And the thirst was a big pain in the butt, even the thirst in the second game was annoying, but not nearly as bad as it was in the first one.
I like the female character being the sword-wielder, but it would have been a lot better for them both to be able to. I can imagine Monica saying, "Damnit, Max, put that stupid wrench down and take this sword."
