What game do you think is the most overrated?

First off the Rock Band guitar can be opened and u can put rubber bands around slots near the strum which look like it was meant to have rubber bands there. Can you slide around on the Guitar Hero guitar like the Rock Band guitar? No.

Oh, some people dont care for those.

You just told me the Rock Band guitar is better because it can be ripped apart and fixed. :lol

And I don't care for the small buttons either, they mess me up.

I said if the Guitar Hero guitar could slide like the Rock Band one which it cant which means u can make get the orange easier making it more comfortable.

Final Fantasy
Halo
Gears of War
Zelda: TP
SSBM (yes, I'm calling my favorite fighting game overrated. Kind of shows how unenthusiastic I am about the genre as a whole :P)
GTA
 
GTA series in general.
Final Fantasy series in general, but especially FFVII (I still think FFX was the best).
Gran Turismo
Twilight Princess
Gears of War (but I still like it)
 
I would have to say that the most overrated games are the Grand Theft Auto Series and Guitar Hero Series. I know they've sold millions but to me, they just arent as fun.

My friends who are here at the time of this post, They think that the game Halo 3 is the most overrated game.

hmmm overrated... well you gotta understand that i don't think overrated = bad but here i go

1. donkey kong 64 (i just cant see what's so great about this game)
2. GTA in general
3. final fantasy VII (i like it but it's just not the best )
4. zelda ocarina of time (heck i still belive majora's mask was better )
5. final fantasy VI (i still can't say this game does not deserve it's popularity because i still have not played all the game but so far i think is overrate... but i might change my mind )
 
The RPG Genre as a whole. I had a conversation with a friend of mine just recently where I discovered I have almost no patience for RPG games. It's funny, because some of my favorite games include RPG elements (levelling up for example) but I don't own or enjoy anything that could be considered a "pure" RPG.

In stark contrast to everyone here I like the GTA series, the only one I didn't like was San Andreas and that was because they added in all those RPG elements. :lol

I also really liked Halo 3. I think people underestimate the theater and forge features of that game, and instead point to a somewhat standard single player experience as reason to not like the game. That would be like belittling Super Smash Bros. Melee because the Adventure mode was short and underwhelming. If you're not playing those games with friends then you're missing the point entirely.
 
Grand Theft Auto(spout your 'it has a good story' crap all you want, most people buy it to run over hookers and cops)

Final Fantasy VII-XIII(I just like I-VI better)

Ocarina of Time(Majora's Mask > Ocarina of Time)

Racing games(I don't like them at all)

Halo series(Halo > Halo 3 > Halo 2, though all are average or lower)

WWII shooters(stop buying them, we don't want more)

Guitar Hero III(and only III)

Link to the Past(it's not the super amazing 2-D game everyone says it is, but still good, though considerably less so on my third time though)

Gunstar Heroes

Super Mario Bros. 3(bleh)

Castlevania(not fun hard, just stupid hard)

well i think what fhq means is "if you didn't like 6 of them why try the 7th?" although i disagree with him XD (i love FF) i kinda understand what he means *looks at megaman X7,8 and if it's exists 9*.

and i take what i said about FFVI, the esper system and the story live up to the hype XD
