What games have you been reading about?

So, what have you been looking at and reading in your gaming magazines lately? Or, what games have you been admiring and reading reviews of online?

For me, I noticed that Kirby Squeak Squad got a 7.7 rating by Game Informer. That rating sounded alright, and I wanna get the game anyway, after I beat some more of a few other games.

I saw that a game is being made for the PS2 called "Raw Danger". I bet it will really stink, but it sounded pretty interesting to me. The idea was unique. You play as 6 different people who are trying to escape a city that has been flooded. The things you decide will affect the outcome of the game for all of the characters. It just sounded "different" and I like different.

I really liked the screen shots of Eternal Sonata for xbox360, too. But they didn't rate it yet, so I don't know if it is any good or not, but it is an rpg.

Plus, TMNT caught my eye. I mean, I want it just cuz it has the turtles, but it will probably be mediocre. I hope they make it cool, but since it is based on a movie it is destined to stink. Ah, well.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles looks very pretty. Colorful and immersive looking. Looks like a cool place to visit (if you could remove all the bad guys).

Then there was a bunch of pages on Blue Dragon, an rpg, for the xbox 360. It just looks like the 360 is getting a lot cooler stuff then the xbox had.

There were a number of Super Smash Bros. Brawl pics..as colorful as ever.

Then on one page they had all these Rayman Raving Rabids figures you can buy. They are so cute and wacky. They would make neat decorations.....I want them!
 
My attention right now has been focused on Rogue Galaxy which hs gotten mixed reviews so I'm gonna get it anyway...

And I cannot wait for Mass Effect to hit the 360
 
Let's see...today...

Mario Kari 64 will be added to the Wii's virtual console this Monday (Jan 29th)

Still drooling over the Xbox Live Arcade version of CastleVania SOTN (Which is due sometime in Feb 10th)

Wondering what will happen to the guitar hero series since Neversoft took over

Wondering why PSP keeps getting more remakes of RPG's then the PS1 did...actually it could be as equal now.

Crying over the fact Super Paper Mario was canned for GameCube was a shame and many have agreed that Cube can be offically put to rest after the release of this port called, "Radio Allergy" from the Dreamcast. (originally called Radilgy). 6 year life span for the Cube, about the same time frame as the N64 I think. (96 to 02)

And the project "CastleVania: The Movie" is still underway, but no real budget has been set to estimate how much it will cost.

and finally, the rumors are growing that GTA Vice City Stories from PSP maybe ported to PS2...which makes perfect sense, because if LBC can, then so can VCS
 
Cool. I like seeing what goes through people's heads..what they think is interesting and look forward to.
 
Pretty much nothing. I've been happy enough playing LOZ: Twilight Princess for the Wii and haven't been reading into future games since.

Actually, I did see screenshots and a movie for Dragon Quest IX, and I was appalled that it will be a DS exclusive game with real time battles. Appalled I tell thee.
 
I pray thee, let it be known the reasons thou art appalled!!

I read an article in some mag about the new C&C game. EA is making an attempt at sticking this thing on the 360 with next to no load times, no choppyness and all the glory of an over-the-top RTS.
 
I've been trying not to read too much lately. I decided this year that I'm not getting any games on launch (except for DS games, since they can be really hard to find if you don't get them right away). I still haven't even played some of the games I purchased in 2006, so it's really silly to pick up new games just to have them.

That said, there's a few choice games that I'm going to pick up the day they come out, so I've been reading about those. And those games are:

Blue Dragon (360)
Eternal Sonata (360)
Crackdown (360 and no it's not just for the Halo 3 beta ::) )
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii, if it comes out this year)
Wii Play (Wii)
Halo 3 (360)

That was the most impressive news to me..Square-Enix wants to liscense the Unreal Engine 3 for a future project...what would they want with this American company...and let alone, a big surprise especially for the Epic Games people..

I was dissapointed because I wanted DQ IX to be on a console, with it's tradditional turn-based combat system. DQ VIII was perfect and was (In my opinion) the GOTY for 2006, so the series going through some major changes like that and being switched over to a portable system infuriates me.

I read about the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. It is like 1988 again!! And a new movie also thsi year?? It is obligated not to suck. If it does, then Hollywood will pay. Oh yes, they will pay...
 
I have been looking at Valhalla Knights PSP and Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner PSP, both equally good games that are on the verge of release, they look quite fantastic really and exciting storywise. Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure is another one that I have been looking at too, for its wide array of voice actors. I have also been constantly checking for new information on Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and Meteos Disney Magic.

Even if the movie does stink, I am going to watch it anyway. Ha.

No, it is not. Because I only want to see a movie with ninja turtles in it. Were there ninja turtles on that plane??? I wouldn't know since I didn't see it...but I really highly doubt it...ha.

Check out the newest trailer at apple.com. It actually looks really cool. The animation is such that kids today will enjoy it, but it definitely looks like the generation who grew up on TMNT (that is, my generation) will be pleasantly pleased with it
