Expert, of course. I don't own GHIII, though, so I rarely play(like I mind, Activision didn't do so good).

The songs are proving to be lacking again. They just seem to have gotten bands people mention a lot, as opposed to stuff for the game that would work.

I prefer Rock Band. It's easier, and that makes it more enjoyable for me, personally. But when I do play GH3 I think I play it on normal or hard. I'll never get up to expert, and I'm fine with that.

true about the easy part. i quit playing rockband because of how easy it was. also i like the songs on GH3 more than the songs on rockband.

Rock Band's easier, but several of its songs are still a challenge. Green Grass and High Tides. >_>

Of course, how else would they jump and the bandwagon and claim they have the first game to include drums and vocals?

What do you do on Rock Band?

green grass and high tides is just about the only challenging song on that game. its pretty easy when you compare it to Throught the fire and the flames.

Have you tried the DLC?
its pretty easy when you compare it to Through the fire and the flames.
Overcharting three guitars does that to a song.

i quit the game also because of its guitar. and the harder they can make the song the better it is. so if they have to overchart it they can go ahead. and ive tried the dlc and its not very hard. im still waiting for a dragonforce album

Expert. I haven't played GH games in a while though, and I never finished one on expert. GH's charts make me sick though. I hate how they don't even care that the charts make no sense.

mostly expert, i beat the game on hard and the really hard songs i play on that.
Rock band, though, is expert all the way. I thought that they'd make a harder game...
Guitar hero 1 is harder though. for hammer-ons and pull-offs you need to hold both notes, and it makes the game much more difficult.
I've gotten kind of bored of the guitar hero games recently; but World Tour might change my stance if it has good songs.

They made the right choice in going for a more realistic chart that's still fun, as opposed to Activision just throwing in stuff.

I can play on Hard for Rock Band. Some songs on Bass I might even be able to do on expert. But I'm not sure. To me it's more important to have fun than to be frustrated, even if it means playing at a lower level and looking like a newb. :P

I'm not a fan of bass, because the few songs I've played are too repetitive.

I know what you mean. Green Grass and High Tides. Joker & The Thief.

Right now, medium. I've gotten perfect on easy and now I'm attempting the same on medium.

I had the hardest time getting medium down simply because my pinky finger isn't very long and I never used to use it for anything besides hitting the enter or shift key on the keyboard. It was like telling the brain to suddenly coordinate a new appendage. When I'm done with medium I'll give hard a try. With some practice it should be a breeze once I can coordinate one of the fingers to move to get the orange button. I'd be playing hard already if I wasn't busy.
