My cup from Mcdonal's reads:
Finally, a happy meal for me.
Go Active!
Happy Meal
- For Adults

Alrighty.......  WHATS UP WITH THIS?!
a happy meal for adults....... say what? :lol

anyone else see this? :crazy

Yeah, I've seen those, they're supposed to be healthy meals for adults and they come with things to encourage exercise, like a step counter.  But I find it kind of ironic that McDonalds spent years fattening us up, now they're trying to slim us down again so they can repeat the process. :woot

:lol

I was going to take a picture of the cup.....

I just don't understand this...... its funny never-the-less...

maybe they are having remorse while trying to profit?

I don't think we have the Go Active Happy Meals, but McDonalds here has certainly tried for a "healthier" image. They've brought out different salad meals, fruit desserts, etc. Of course, it's still the most unhealthy place you can eat at, but at least they're trying.

Or are they? *hears "dun dun dunnnn" in the background*
Whoa, where the hell did that come from? Freaky.... :crazy

What, adults don't deserve to be happy, is that what you're saying? :(

I don't think the McDonalds around here are doing that either.... and I wanted a walking counter so I could see how lazy I am.... 8)

i went to mcdonalds and ate 2 big macs and a medium fry...afterwards i looked at the nutrition label to find out that i just ate 80 grams of fat! thats just ridiculous! i'm never goin back there again.

Argh! Thy're doing the same thing over here, except it's mainly for the Younger generation to get active. And then they have Low Fat (yeah, barely) stuff for Adults! Like deli style rolls and whatnot. It's all another marketing scheme in my mind.

I'm pretty sure it's just an image thing. The popularity of healthier fast food joints (like Subway for example) has been increasing over the last little while, health crazes are popping up everywhere (although most of them are misleading and altogether wrong) so McDonald's figured it was time to jump on the boat. It was not done due to a sense of guilt or anything like that, it was done because a public trend was noticed, and they're trying to make money off of it.

Subway still uses coldcut meats full of sodium nitrate (which preliminary findings indicate is linked to colon cancer).

McDonald's "healthy" image is horribly misleading. The buns are still mostly highly processed bleached wheat flour white breads. The drinks they provide are still mostly high fructose corn syrup and water. The chicken is processed and loaded with "flavor solution", which means it's majorly high in salts. The burgers are still garbage too.

If I want a burger any more, I'll go to Chili's or the local pub and get a nice big burger...

I'd be happier eating pastas, salmon or going to a sushi bar though...

ridculous........ >:(

mcdonalds was meant for greasy food yet.............they suck at trying to get healthy junk.... :-X

not to de-rail... but dang... my 1st post on this was from 2004.... IT REALLY doesn't seem like it was that long ago.

Insane.

Wendy's is good :lol but I prefer cooking burgers on the grill (the 90/10 lean beef ones).

80 grams of fat!!! Whoa!!!! I try to eat only up to 22 grams of fat a day...that was almost like 4 days worth of fat for me....wowsers....

The McDonald's near one of my old stores has a 50 pack of "meat" McNuggets for $10. Talk about gluttony. And imagine the fat and calorie content of eating fried mystery meat in that amount.
